The Lamborghini Huracan STO was spotted on the Nürburgring. However, this time the car may not be here for a test drive. Instead, Lamborghini has brought a team of engineers who are preparing to set a new lap record.
The rear-wheel drive STO could be perfect for the curvy, undulating ground of the Nordschleife. After all, it is inspired by the Super Trofeo EVO and the Huracan GT3 EVO racing cars. Just like the racing cars, the STO is equipped with an advanced aero package that can be tuned for optimal downforce, which is crucial on a track like this.
The Huracan STO is powered by a 5.2 liter naturally aspirated V10 engine that develops 640 horsepower and 417 lb-ft at 5,600 rpm. Lamborghini claims the car will go 0-62 mph in 3.0 seconds and 0-124 mph in 9 seconds.
