Monsieur Christian Dior was of a superstitious nature and also had tremendous camaraderie with his four legged friends, especially a dog named Bobby! So much so that every collection of his famous 1950s rock suits had one named after his favorite dog. This ‘Bobby Suit’ was immensely successful. Design ethos
The bag is essentially a hobo bag that combines functional structure with stylish curves. The Dior Bobby Bag eschews the casual aesthetic of a traditional hobo and uses a crescent-shaped silhouette to reinforce the subtle nod to a saddle-influenced exterior.

The bag has a more vintage look and is decorated with modern signature elements to add an extra layer of complexity. The CD logo on the front and the bold use of the iconic “30 Montaigne” address on the back make it as contemporary as it is classic.
The bag was designed for all women and is versatile and is presented in luxurious materials such as box calf leather and oblique canvas, which translate the distinctive know-how of the Dior craftsmen. The slightly iridescent box calf leather exterior has an eye-catching sheen, while the rounded silhouette of the bag is constructed to form a medium-sized body. The front flap is secured with a magnetic clasp that is subtly hidden behind the buckle detail. The brand’s distinctive initials appear in antique gold, as do the other hardware details, including a military-inspired buckle on the adjustable and detachable strap and the small D-rings on either side.
The elegant bag has a large opening that is cut off at the side for security and a saddle-like look. The inside itself is lined with evenly tinted suede and has a logo pocket.
